- What this is. Smash/Bid is a tool for organisers to run player auctions for badminton tournaments. Each tournament belongs to its organiser, who is responsible for it, its fees, prizes and rules, and for any tax on fees. Smash/Bid does not hold your money and is not a party to your contract with the organiser.
- No gambling. Auction budgets are points for choosing teams. They are not money and cannot be bought, sold or exchanged for money or prizes. Organisers must not collect money from captains, pool entry fees into prizes, or promise prizes based on auction results through this service.
- Accounts. Sign in with Google and give true details. Players under 18 may register only through a parent or legal guardian.
- Your content. You allow the organiser and Smash/Bid to show your name and photo in the auction. You confirm the photo is yours to share. To have it removed write to the Grievance Officer: we act on content complaints within 36 hours.
- Organisers. Organisers use players' phone numbers only to run the tournament, keep them safe, and must not share or sell them. Organisers should take entry fees on a business or merchant UPI ID or Razorpay account, are responsible for any GST, and must state a refund rule before players pay.
- Payments. Entry fees are paid directly to the organiser by UPI or Razorpay. Refunds follow the Refund Policy and are the organiser's to give.
- Limits. The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for an organiser's acts, connection problems during a live auction, or indirect loss.
- Law and complaints. Indian law applies; courts at Manglore have jurisdiction. Grievance Officer: Mervin Sequeira, mervinsequeira485@gmail.com. We acknowledge within 24 hours and resolve within 7 days.
