Smash/Bid is a tool that organisers use to run player auctions for badminton tournaments. This page says what it collects, why, who sees it and how to control it.

What we collect

Why

To register you for a tournament, run its live auction, let the organiser contact you and confirm your payment, and to let you reuse your saved details for other tournaments you choose. Nothing is used for advertising, tracking or profiling.

Who sees it

How long we keep it

Registration details (phone, email, payment reference and photo) are deleted 365 days after the auction ends. Results (name, category, team, price) may remain as the record of the auction. A saved profile and your player history stay until you delete your profile in Settings. Deleting your profile also deletes your history, your registrations and your photos in every auction.

Children

If the player is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must register them and agree to this notice on their behalf. We do not track, profile or advertise to children.

Your rights

You can see, correct and delete your details in Settings, withdraw your consent at any time the same way you gave it (delete your profile, or write to us), and complain to us or to the Data Protection Board of India. We answer within 7 days.

Security and problems

Data is kept on a server in India, passwords are never used (sign-in is through Google), secrets are encrypted, and access is logged. If personal data is ever exposed we tell affected people and the Data Protection Board without delay.
